Welcome To my Adoption Page!

I was adopted when I was 2 months old. I grew up knowing that I was adopted but I also grew up with the feelings of "being rejected", thinking how could my birth mom just give me away without even thinking of what it would do to me. And what was worse, I looked like no one in the family. I was fair skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes. Everyone in the family had brown to black hair and dark eyes. I think I was sixteen when I decided I was going to find my birth family. But I also thought there is no way in this world that I could. But on May 13, 1996 I found them. So never give up hope. If I can do it anyone can! It was funny, but the first words my husband said I uttered was, "I finally am a someone." And to this day I never remember saying theses words. I hope the pages below will give you hope, and I also hope they will help you in your journey.
