Some open source vision apps other than Cynbe's Vision App:

• Improv "Image Processing for Robot Vision" (GPL2, 2003)

• Motion, which seems to get used a lot;

• Wechselspieler like BigEye and friends -- has region trigger, generates MIDI/OSC events.

• Motiontrack focuses entirely on the motion detection algorithms comparing two images;

• SCRAP "motion detection algorithm that is robust against changes in lighting".
