Nudity is not obscene. The human body is perfectly normal, natural and healthy, with or without clothes.
Sex is not obscene. Mating is likewise perfectly normal, natural and healthy.
The Pentagon budget is obscene. Spending 70% of the nation's cash surplus hiring and equipping professional killers is not normal, natural or healthy.
Mass murder, and depictions thereof, is obscene. Murder is not a normal, natural or healthy way of resolving disputes.
Guns are obscene. Deadly force is not a normal, natural or healthy part of any society worthy of the name.
Sending children below the age of consent to Sunday school is obscene. Pounding ancient tribal superstitions into minds too young, dependent, ignorant and defenseless to resist is beneath contempt.
